What BaitBlock filters.
BaitBlock focuses on unwanted English business financing offers: working capital pitches, lines of credit, cash advances and similar loan solicitations from unknown senders.
You decide what’s welcome.
“Block financing offers” starts on. If you expect loan-related messages, turn it off and review your filtered messages. A financing offer isn’t necessarily fraudulent, and a filter can make mistakes.
No fishing. Or phishing.
That’s the ambition: fewer unwanted pitches and deceptive messages. Today, our filter focuses on English business financing offers.
What it doesn’t do.
It doesn’t replace Messages, filter iMessage, verify a lender’s identity, or guarantee protection against every scam. Delivery scams, bank impersonation and other topics are outside this filter’s current focus.
A fish with a wardrobe.
Report unwanted messages in the app to earn 50 XP for each accepted, unique report. Unlock Rookie Fish, Armor, Shield, Laser Eyes, Line Cutter, Big Fish and Head of Security. They’re cosmetic rewards, not different levels of protection.
How the filter gets better.
Reviewed reports can become de-identified examples for future training. Raw reports are deleted after 90 days. Submitting a report does not automatically train or change the filter on your phone.
